Our rich heritage - Solomon Software

Beyond Software is developed and published by the creators of the product Solomon Software, now Microsoft Dynamics SL. Solomon Software (now Solomon Cloud Solutions) was founded in 1980 by Gary Harpst, Vernon Strong and Jack Ridge, and has been developing software solutions for project-based organizations for over 35 years.

Solomon released its first accounting software products in 1981 (Solomon I and II), and in 1984 introduced the award-winning Solomon III - the first microcomputer accounting software written in C. From 1985-1991, Solomon accumulated more awards than any other small business accounting software. In 1994 Solomon IV was released, and from 1995-1999 Solomon Software continued to win awards and garner recognition, including the coveted Editors' Choice award from PC Magazine/Price Waterhouse.

Between 1980 and 2000, Solomon installed more than 60,000 systems in small and medium-sized businesses around the world and grew to be one of the industry leaders in its market, with continuous recognition from value-added resellers, computer publications, CPA and accounting firms, and the programmer/developer community.

Beyond Software (a division of Solomon Cloud Solutions) combines years of extensive project software development experience with the latest tools, technologies and cutting edge features to create the top web based project accounting system in the market for small to mid-sized project focused businesses.
